What are the differences between plastic wood floor and anti-corrosion wood floor
Apr 09 , 2022
1. Density of plastic wood material
The density of plastic wood materials is 1.2-1.3g/cm, while the density of conventional wood preservatives is only 0.4-0.5g/cm; the loose fiber structure of preservative wood makes it very easy to absorb moisture in the natural environment for a long time. The moisture content of plastic wood will make it grow mold in a very short period of time, and produce bulging, cracking, moldy and blackening; while the plastic wood material has a compact structure, the density is about three times that of conventional anti-corrosion wood, and it almost does not absorb natural The moisture in the environment loses the nourishment of moisture, and there is no living environment for mold.
2. Anti-corrosion, mildew-proof, insect-proof and ant-proof of plastic wood materials
The plastic wood material is made of thermoplastic plastic and natural wood fiber through high temperature fusion and extrusion. The material does not contain moisture or nutrients, and natural bacteria are also wiped out during high temperature processing, which is completely unsuitable for bacterial growth. The intermolecular structure is dense, the surface is hard, and it is not suitable for insects and ants to eat. On the other hand, preservative wood is just the opposite. The loose structure and easy water absorption of preservative wood make it a highly nutritious breeding base for bacteria. The softness of the fiber also makes it more susceptible to insects, ants and rodents. It is not surprising that it is not preservative in name .
